Vacuum Wine Preservation Systems
Vacuum wine preservation systems are designed to pump out the air from an open bottle of wine. They typically come with stoppers you place on top of the opened bottle, then attach the pump on top and draw the air out. The latest systems seem to manage the amount of air that is vacummed out which claims it doesnt also draw the aromas out. There are some critics though that think wines using this process have less aroma on the nose, and seemed flat and dull.
